Dear Clients, Colleagues and Friends:
This is certainly one of the more interesting weeks we’ve experienced in our careers, with the coronavirus, crumbling markets, a crude oil price war, a full moon and Friday the 13th all seeming to conspire against us. But this is far from our first rodeo. We have been through upheavals in the past – both manmade and natural. Here in Houston, oil busts and natural disasters are nothing new or surprising. As with all challenges in our lives, the key at this moment is not what happens to us, but how we react to it. Calm, methodical, reasoned preparation is the order of the day. In the face of the spreading coronavirus, Graves & Co. Consulting is instituting responsible practices to reduce risks to our clients and our team while maintaining our customary high levels of service and responsiveness. Travel is being reduced, tele-conferencing and video-conferencing are replacing face-to-face meetings when appropriate, and we are prepared to work remotely should that become advisable. Should you require any reservoir engineering or geoscience support during this unsettled period, please be assured that we stand ready to provide a prompt response, that we have the expertise and the bandwidth to meet your needs, and the capability to seamlessly deliver to you quality information that supports good decision-making. If you have any questions, please feel free to ask. Best wishes, John L. Graves, President March 2020 Issue |
