Presentation on the inactive Shannopin coal mine in southern Pennsylvania, discussing the original minable coal, remaining coal and estimated original and remaining natural gas contained within the coal seams.  Included was a preliminary economic estimate of a development program to produce the natural gas utilizing horizontal wells.

A presentation concerning the mechanics of acquiring oil and gas assets for increasing the energy base of Consol Energy the was primarily a coal company with natural gas reserves associated with a long wall coal mining activity.  The presentation was to a select group of senior executives with limited experience in methods of acquiring oi and gas assets.
